A Few Words About
Our History
E Energy Adams, LLC was conceived by Jack L. Alderman, a successful businessman and developer from Wisconsin. With his input, a board of directors was organized and the company incorporated in March 2005.
E Energy Adams received our Securities and Exchange Commission clearance on May 15, 2006 and shortly thereafter became a public company of almost 800 members. We are proud of our grassroots efforts. More than 300 of our members hold the minimum investment of $20,000. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held on June 2, 2006 followed by actual excavation work commencing in July. Fagen Inc. mobilized on-site to begin construction on August 14, 2006. The plant successfully reached start-up on schedule and began operations on October 27, 2007.
E Energy Adams is a 100MG Fagen/ICM ethanol plant constructed on a 200-acre site approximately 2 ½ miles west and 1 mile north of Adams in Gage County, Nebraska. A team of proven leaders from the ethanol industry was selected to help build and manage the plant.
E Energy Adams produces both modified wet and dry distillers grain with solubles (DDGS) which are sold to local and regional markets. The plant's energy source is natural gas and rail is provided by BNSF. Our site is capable of handling unit trains. We have the ability to transport our ethanol and distillers grains to markets on any coast. E Energy Adams operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and employs approximately 60 people.
